Students from across the University of Missouri campus crowded into the Mizzou Rec on Wednesday, March 8, to meet with employers about potential job and internship opportunities. More than 1,000 students attended the event, which included a variety of employers and businesses.

New Tuition Structure (Beginning Fall 2023)

TheĀ new tuition structure has been posted on the MU Cashiers Office website. The new structure considers three tuition tiers (CAFNR has two tiers) and the plateau rate for 12 to 18 credit hours. Students and families will select Residency Status, Enrollment Status, School or College, and Academic Plan (Major), and will then be provided with the total cost per semester. For more information or questions about the new structure, visit the Cashiers Office website.

  • The the University of Missouri Academic Quadrathlon team took home first place during the 2023 American Society of Animal Science (ASAS) Midwest Academic Quadrathlon competition. The event took place during the Midwest Section annual meeting, which was held in mid-March in Madison, Wis. The Quadrathlon competition consists of a laboratory practicum, written exam, oral presentation and quiz bowl. The team will now represent MU at the National American Society of Animal Science in July.
  • Several CAFNR students were recently chosen as 2023 Agriculture Future of America (AFA) Animal Institute and Food Institute selections. AFA experiences connect students to a diverse community of peers and professionals who are passionate about food and agriculture. The goal of the experiences is to challenge the way students think about themselves, their potential career and the agriculture industry. A total of eight CAFNR students will partake in these experiences this year.
