Nominate or Apply for Outstanding Students and Outstanding Student Club/Organization Awards

Nominations for CAFNR’s Outstanding Students and Outstanding Student Club/Organization are due Friday, March 1. To nominate or apply, visit the CAFNR Student Council page. The awards will be presented at CAFNR’s Celebration of Excellence on Tuesday, April 16.

The Spring 2024 CAFNR/Arts and Science Career Fair is scheduled from noon until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, in the Mizzou Rec Center. All Mizzou students are welcome to participate. Interested students can visit Handshake to see a complete list of registered organizations and download the Career Fair Plus app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Professional attire is required.

As a Litton Scholar, you’ll dive deeper into leadership education, gain mentorship from experts and drive meaningful change in the community. Applications are open to all CAFNR students who will be second-year students in the fall of 2024 and hold a 3.0 minimum GPA. Find program details and application on the CAFNR website. Applications are due to the CAFNR Academics Program’s Office, 2-64 Ag Building, by Monday, March 11, 2024.

  • On Jan. 20, the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association recognized John Tummons as the 2023 Leadership Development Award recipient at the 56th Annual Missouri Cattle Industry Convention. This award was created to acknowledge individuals who are dedicated to growing and expanding the association and creating new leaders within the industry.
