
Isaac Rhode, a sophomore agriculture major, was elected to the National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) Board of Directors during the 2022 VitaFerm® Junior National Hereford Expo, held in July in Louisville, Ky. Rhode was one of four new directors elected this year. The board is made up of 12 individuals who serve three-year terms and help govern the nearly 4,000 member organization. According to the NJHA, its mission is to create and promote enthusiasm for the Hereford breed while providing learning opportunities through leadership, education and teamwork.
Rhode, who is from Stewartsville, Mo., is a 12-year member of the Missouri Junior Hereford Association, where he has served as president, vice president and secretary.
