Two CAFNR students earned grand prize honors during the University of Missouri Undergraduate Visual Art and Design Showcase (VADS). This year, the showcase was a virtual exhibition, co-sponsored by the MU Digital Library. VADS is funded by the vice provost for undergraduate studies. The awards were selected by a group of jury members from outside of MU.
Amberlee Gandy (senior, agricultural education) and Grace Anderson (junior, plant sciences) earned the grand prize in Applied Design, which includes a $2,000 award that they will be able to use toward their own professional development. Gandy and Anderson were mentored by Lesleighan Cravens, instructor in the Division of Plant Sciences.
