Why did you want to become a CAFNR Ambassador? Though I knew I was welcome in CAFNR, I didn’t see a lot of people who looked like myself. I want to make sure that every student that comes through CAFNR feels like they belong there and that the path has already been set for them. Furthermore, I want to make sure that students understand how CAFNR is really set to work for them. Whatever you want to do in your life, you can work a CAFNR degree into it!
What has been your favorite part of your degree program so far? Working with various advisors and instructors who are not only knowledgeable about courses, but are excited to hear about what I want to do with my degree!
Best study spot? Next to the Starbucks in Ellis or 4R for absolute silence
Best place for a snack or coffee? B&B Bagel for the best everything bagel in town!
Dream career? Gynecologist that serves as a consultant to the US Congress on healthcare policy.
What do you love about CAFNR? It is a much smaller college compared to others at the university, which allows you to really get to know your instructors and peers.
What advice do you have for incoming students? Meet as many folks as you can, whether that means making small talk when you’re waiting in line for coffee or joining organizations. Meet new people — you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
