Why did you want to become a CAFNR Ambassador? I wanted to help incoming students explore all of the opportunities in CAFNR for personal and academic growth while embracing their passions.
What has been your favorite part of your degree program so far? A degree in agriculture is a create-your-own-experience degree! There aren’t any set requirements other than gen eds, so as long as a class fits the criteria of the emphasis area you pick, you can take it! It allows you to build your own tool kit based on your interests and skill sets.
Best study spot? Ellis Library
Best place for a snack or coffee? Infusion in the student center
Dream career? I want to be an agronomist.
What do you love about CAFNR? CAFNR is like a giant family! No matter what your major is, CAFNR is a place of support. The students, advisors, and professors care about your personal success and well being.
What advice do you have for incoming students? Do not be afraid to take risks and explore new things! Try a new study spot, take an interesting class, join a new club… no matter what it is, take advantage of those moments!
