Why did you want to become a CAFNR Ambassador? CAFNR has done great things for me, and I wanted to help recruit the next group of students that will get to experience the support, investment and accountability that CAFNR offers students!

What has been your favorite part of your degree program so far? My favorite part of my degree program is definitely the curriculum. My courses are project-based, so I’m developing a portfolio to use as I pursue future opportunities!

Best study spot? Ellis Library

Best place for a snack or coffee? The café in the library

Dream career? Communications director for an agricultural commodity group

What do you love about CAFNR? I love the networking opportunities. Even as I’ve traveled across the nation, I’ve met CAFNR graduates that are proud of their Missouri roots. Whether it be in Washington, D.C. or Lamar, Colorado, I’ve found myself sharing this connection with people across the United States!

What advice do you have for incoming students? Get involved! College is what you make it. Involvement on campus can lead to jobs, internships, and great friends. Use that to your advantage!
