Why did you want to become a CAFNR Ambassador? I wanted to become a CAFNR Ambassador because I believe CAFNR is the best college within the University of Missouri and I want to help promote it in any way possible. I have known my whole life I was going to be a Missouri Tiger and I believe Ambassador’s is a great way to give back to an institution that provides me with so many opportunities. I want to help new students discover new interests and get involved in clubs through CAFNR.

What has been your favorite part of your degree program so far? My favorite part of Agribusiness Management has been the exposure to industry professionals. In many classes we have had guest speakers which help students gain perspective on different industries within agriculture which has been very valuable.

Best study spot? Memorial Union

Best place for a snack or coffee? Booche’s!

Dream career? Owning my own agricultural financial planning business

What do you love about CAFNR? I believe CAFNR is a place that sets their students up for success post graduation. In the Agribusiness Management program we are required to attend the CAFNR Career Fair as a freshman. From the beginning you are pushed out of your comfort zone, but have the help of many professors to guide you, build your resume, and grow your communication skills.

What advice do you have for incoming students? If your schedule allows, take classes that you wouldn’t usually pick. It is good to learn new things and you might find something you didn’t know you were interested in.
