Why did you want to become a CAFNR Ambassador? I want to be a CAFNR Ambassador because I have had a wonderful experience with CAFNR so far and I want to share that with others. CAFNR does an amazing job of connecting students and making a big university feel a lot smaller. When I was thinking of coming to Mizzou, I met a CAFNR Ambassador who really enhanced my visit and made me want to attend Mizzou even more.

What has been your favorite part of your degree program so far? I really enjoyed my hospitality law class. I thought it was really interesting and I learned a lot about laws specific to the hospitality industry.

Best study spot? The library. I really like the big reading rooms on the second floor or finding a spot tucked away at one of the counters by the shelves.

Best place for a snack or coffee? On campus, I love to go to Bookmark Cafe at the library. In Columbia, I like going to The Grind.

Dream career? Food and Beverage Director at a casino or Coffee Shop/Bakery owner

What do you love about CAFNR? I love that everyone is always eager to help and tries to make your academic experience better. CAFNR makes Mizzou seem a little smaller and a lot less daunting.

What advice do you have for incoming students? Don’t be afraid to try new things and meet new people. Joining clubs is a great way to do both.
