Why did you want to become a CAFNR Ambassador? I wanted to become an CAFNR ambassador because I want to be that person that I wish I had when coming to Mizzou and CAFNR. Transitioning from high school to college is a hard adjustment especially when you have little to no agricultural background. So, I want to be that helping hand for all incoming freshman or transfers and make them feel as comfortable as possible in their new stage of life and CAFNR is the perfect place for a fresh start!

What has been your favorite part of your degree program so far? My favorite part of my degree program so far is being able to get hands-on experience with many different animals such as horses, cows, pigs, etc.!

Best study spot? The best study spot would have to be a secluded study room with a white board.

Best place for a snack or coffee? The best place for a snack or coffee is Starbucks on campus!

Dream career? My dream career is to become an small animal veterinarian.

What do you love about CAFNR? What I love about CAFNR is the amount of support and resources I am able to receive whether it is from professors or advisors. I have been exposed to many opportunities that I wouldn’t have imagined if I didn’t choose to be in CAFNR.

What advice do you have for incoming students? One piece of advice that I have for incoming students is to invest in a planner! With all the different classes you are going to take, it’s best to stay organized ahead of time so that you don’t miss any assignments or exams!
