Why did you want to become a CAFNR Ambassador? Choosing a university to attend is a really important and sometimes difficult decision to make. By becoming a CAFNR Ambassador, I could inform prospective high school and transfer students about CAFNR and Mizzou. Essentially becoming a resource to them as they make their college decision.
What has been your favorite part of your degree program so far? My favorite part about my degree is how diverse it is. Because I have three concentration areas, I get to take a little bit of everything. I can take agribusiness classes, agricultural communication classes, and even some natural resource policy classes.
Best study spot? The best spot to study is on the ground floor of the Bond Life Sciences Building. The building is always quiet and there is a really cool plant wall.
Best place for a snack or coffee? My favorite snack place on campus is Truffles. They have good smoothies and desserts.
Dream career? My dream career is to become an agricultural attorney.
What do you love about CAFNR? I love the people. The students within CAFNR are always nice and it’s pretty awesome to be surrounded by so many other individuals who are passionate about the agricultural industry.
What advice do you have for incoming students? Don’t be afraid to get involved. CAFNR offers so many cool organizations that are not only fun to be a part of but can enrich your time here at school.
