Why did you want to become a CAFNR Ambassador? I wanted the greater opportunity of telling potential students about CAFNR and why it can be the best place for them. Being a CAFNR Ambassador allows me to be a part of making CAFNR feel like “home” to the next generation of students.

What has been your favorite part of your degree program so far? My favorite part about the agriculture degree program is it tailors to my own interests and passions. I take classes in each of my emphasis areas, and I love getting to learn about different aspects in the agriculture industry. It has also allowed me to build relationships with many other students in CAFNR.

Best study spot? Outside of Memorial Union (when it’s nice)!

Best place for a snack or coffee? Wheatstone and Starbucks

Dream career? My dream career is to be in sales or marketing within the agriculture industry!

What do you love about CAFNR? What I love about CAFNR is the experiences that are given to each student. CAFNR faculty and staff is not only impressive in their research, but also cares about the success of each of their students and alumni. CAFNR is a “home” on a big campus and has given me many opportunities that will be impactful in my future endeavors.

What advice do you have for incoming students? My advice I have for incoming students is to be confident in who you are. Don’t be scared to try new things and get involved within and outside your degree program.
