Description

Sam Anand developed soybean varieties with superior oil composition characteristics, which include soybean oil with low saturated fatty acid (palmitic and stearic), lower linolenic acid and greater oleic acid content. His other interests included breeding large-seeded soybean varieties for tofu, small-seeded ones for natto, and varieties with higher seed protein.
