Cultivating Diversity & Inclusion

CAFNR is celebrating Women’s History Month by featuring Q&A’s with distinguished alumnae and Column Award winners, beginning next week. Learn more on the CAFNR website or on our social media! We are also showcasing notable women in agriculture, food and natural resources via our digital displays around the college.

CAFNR’s Inclusion, Diversity Equity and Compassion Committee is hosting a college-wide IDE Journal Club twice a month through May with topics related to each of CAFNR’s six divisions. The first meeting focused on food apartheid and attendees prepared by listening to a podcast by the BBC. Upcoming sessions will be held at the following dates and times. Please hold these times and keep an eye on email for more details about topic and location. All meetings will have a raffle drawing and individuals who participate in at least three meetings will receive a gift certificate to Buck’s Ice Cream:

  • Tuesday, March 22, 10-11 a.m.
  • Tuesday, April 12, 12-1 p.m.
