2009 Outstanding Sophomore: Kaity Kerwin
KAITY KERWIN, studying agricultural journalism and minoring in ag economics, has already gained experience for her upcoming career by working as a reporter/photographer for the Tri-County News, reporter/web strategist for the CAFNR Corner Post and efforts promoting CAFNR Career Services through various media.
At CAFNR, she was a member of the Executive-in-Residence Advisory Board, Dickinson Scholars program, CAFNR Week Steering Committee, CAFNR Ambassadors and Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow. She was voted as Sigma Alpha's national outstanding new member and is a Columbia Missourian student reporter.

"Working in Career Services has been a blessing," Kerwin said. "In the office, I focus on student resumes and reaching the students. I get excited when thinking about the number of CAFNR students who I can help develop professionally. Knowing the number of prepared Tigers that I am helping send out into the world makes me proud."
