Frederick B. Mumford Outstanding Staff Award
This award recognizes a College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources staff member for sustained excellence in executing assigned duties and for her or his effectiveness in support of the mission of their unit and the College. The awardee will be innovative, cooperative and a leader among staff peers. The awardee will have demonstrated personal growth and a drive for excellence in the position she or he occupies.
Nomination packets must be submitted by 5 p.m., March 3, 2017, to:

All benefit-eligible, non-academic staff members who have been employed by the College for at least three (3) years as of January 1, 2016, may be nominated.
Completed Nomination Packets must include:
- The Mumford Award nomination form signed by the nominator; included a one page summary or letter giving examples of specific characteristics that qualify this person for this award.
- No less than three and no more than six support letters that provide a clear description of the nominees contributions to the unit and/or College, giving evidence of the nominees commitment to the land-grant concept.
Note: Incomplete or late nominations will not be reviewed.
Selection for this award will be based on the quality of the evidence of outstanding abilities, performance, character and commitment to the land-grant philosophy.
