CAFNR Week Bundle
Bundles (Concert ticket, shirt, laptop sticker and hat) will be sold Monday, Sept 27 through Friday, October 1 in the Agriculture Building (hallway), and Animal Sciences Research Center (lobby). Cost is $35 (with concert ticket, shirt, and hat); $10 (for hat, shirt, and sticker) or $5 (for shirt and sticker). Limited supply of hats. Sponsored by the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources.


Muddy Monday – Monday, Sept. 27

Learn more about the dairy industry and enjoy a fresh grilled cheese sandwich in the tent at CAFNR Corner (corner of the Ag Bldg. at Hitt and Rollins). Serving 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., while supplies last. Sponsored by Dairy Club.

Kick off CAFNR Week with a bang at the Mud Volleyball Tournament*! CAFNR organizations can enter teams for $20. Register by noon, Sept. 24. Check-in at 5:30 p.m., competition begins at 5:45 p.m. at South Farm Research Center. Enjoy burgers and brats while watching your favorite team. Sponsored by Torq’ N Tigers and Independent Aggies.

Trivia Tuesday – Tuesday, Sept. 28

Organize a team of four for your organization to participate in Trivia Night*. Register with your club on CAFNR Week Google Form by noon, Sept. 24. Entry fee for teams is $20 (includes a large pizza and pitcher of soda). Limited to the first 19 teams registered with ONE team per club. Winners announced at the Cardboard Boat Regatta! Check-in at 5:30 p.m., trivia starts at 6 p.m. at Shakespeare’s Downtown. Sponsored by Alpha Gamma Rho.

Donuts & Dodgeball Day – Wednesday, Sept. 29

Wear a CAFNR shirt today and head over to CAFNR Corner (corner of the Ag Bldg. at Hitt and Rollins) at 9 a.m. to pick up a FREE donut in recognition of CAFNR Week and the college’s 150th anniversary. Donuts are FREE to the first 150 CAFNR students! CAFNR shirt encouraged (but not required). Sponsored by Agricultural Education Society.

Feeling competitive? Bring your team out for Dodgeball*! Register your team of 10 on the CAFNR Week Google Form by noon, Sept. 24. Check-in at 6 p.m., competition begins at 6:30 p.m. at Devine Pavilion. Sponsored by Sigma Alpha Sorority.

Michael Ray Thursday – Thursday, Sept. 30

Michael Ray will perform at the Blue Note. Bring your friends and enjoy a night of country music. Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. at the Blue Note. The Blue Note requires proof of
covid vaccination and/or negative test within three days. Concert tickets are included in the bundle. Sponsored by NAMA.

Foodie Friday – Friday, Oct. 1 (Note: Friday is the new date for the Boat Race!)

Enjoy a Brat at CAFNR Corner (corner of the Ag Bldg. at Hitt and Rollins). Serving 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., while supplies last. Sponsored by Collegiate Farm Bureau.

Looking for fun to round out CAFNR Week? Join us for the Cardboard Boat Race and Cookout that starts at 4 p.m. at Jefferson Farm. To wrap up CAFNR Week, we’re celebrating CAFNR students with the CAFNR Cardboard Boat Regatta. Register your club’s team on the CAFNR Week Google Form. We will roast hot dogs and award cash prizes to organizations who excelled in the CAFNR Week games. A club representative must be present to win the cash! Sponsored by CAFNR True Tigers and Block N’ Bridle.

*Team event: To participate, register with a CAFNR club or organization by noon, Friday, Sept. 24. Contact your organization’s president or student council representative if interested in participating.
