Job Description

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the Agriculture Science Building coordinator, overseeing the organization of storage areas, building security, keys; provide leadership and support for all CAFNR building coordinators; manage building and renovation projects (classrooms, learning labs, research labs, admin and faculty offices, etc.); maintain property/equipment inventories and coordinate removal of surplus property from the Ag Building.
  • Develop a master space utilization plan for the college and the MO Agricultural Experiment Station (MOAES); point of contact for campus for space-related issues and surveys.
  • Oversee the health and safety issues and concerns of college’s facilities (including MOAES facilities), chair the college’s safety and health committee, and serve as the college’s liaison to the MU Office of Environmental Health and Safety.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of Poehlmann Education and Event Center at Bradford, Trowbridge Event Center, and Sorenson Estate home.
  • Manage the maintenance, repair, and replacement of office equipment in the Dean’s suite of offices (e.g., copiers, printers, water systems, ice machine); and assist CAFNR Communications and IT personnel with the installation and maintenance of digital displays throughout the college’s buildings.
  • Maintain Dean’s Office vehicles (e.g., purchase, maintenance, repairs, license, insurance).
  • Assist CAFNR Advancement in coordinating the college’s presence at the State Fair.
  • Maintain CAFNR Marketplace point-of-sale for Dean’s Office purposes, in coordination with the CAFNR Business Office.
  • Hire and supervise student employees, as needed and within budget.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$19.47 – $35.28 per hour

Work Hours

8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday

Minimum Qualification (per job profile)

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Facility/project management and logistical planning and implementation skills
