In a friendly competition between CAFNR orgs at the U.S. Farm Report taping on Oct. 15, Mizzou NAMA won the sign challenge with their unique yarn design. CAFNR also gave $1,500, divided among the five student orgs that showed impressive Tiger spirit.

Andrew Thomas, research assistant prof in Plant Science & Technology, received a $5+ million grant for elderberry research. Elderberry production in Missouri has started to boom, becoming the number one berry crop in the state.
