CAFNR alumni and friends played in the Tiger Classic Golf Tournament at Lake of the Woods on Sept. 17. Together they raised more than $30,000 in student scholarships.

Bill Lamberson, professor of livestock genetics, has spent his entire career at Mizzou, beginning in 1984. Dr. Lamberson has received honors from the American Society of Animal Science, in addition to honors from CAFNR and Mizzou for teaching, graduate advising and director of graduate studies. His award from the American Society of Animal Science is the highest national teaching award in the profession! Faculty, staff, family and friends came together to celebrate his retirement in a reception in the Animal Sciences Research Center courtyard on Sept. 27.

The Horticulture and Agroforestry Research Center hosted their annual Missouri Chestnut Roast on Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Center. Attendees enjoyed various presentations, samples of roasted chestnuts and Missouri specialty products.
