CAFNR alumna Tyne Morgan filmed her US Farm Report College Roadshow on Lowry Mall Friday, Oct. 11. She interviewed CAFNR experts in front of a crowd of CAFNR students, faculty and staff. The student groups with the best signs and most spirit walked away with cash prizes as part of the taping.

CAFNR Vice Chancellor and Dean Christopher Daubert helped serve the new Buck's ice cream flavor, Tiger Paw Paw, Friday, Oct. 11! Food Science students helped create this treat for the Chancellor's State of the University Address. Native Missouri flavors pawpaw and black walnut made for a sweet and crunchy experience! The ice cream is now available on the line at Buck's Ice Cream Shop.

More than 230 high school students came to campus Monday, Oct. 7, for CAFNR Visit Day. Students learned about the different degree programs available in the college.

The Missouri Chestnut Roast was held Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Horticulture and Agroforestry Research Center in New Franklin. Attendees enjoyed presentations, tastings and tours during the day.

The 13th South Farm Showcase was held Saturday, Sept. 28, at the South Farm Research Center in Columbia. There were more than 60 activities spread throughout the South Farm Research Center and Jefferson Farm and Garden. Here attendees cut a tree "cookie" with the Forestry Club.

The CAFNR and Arts & Science Fall Career Fair had 160 employers -- and saw 400 students come through the doors just in the first hour. The event was held Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Brewer Field House on campus.
