One Day. One Goal. Make Mizzou Stronger.

Help CAFNR lead the pack by making a gift on Mizzou Giving Day, March 14-15

Mizzou Giving Day offers an exciting opportunity to show the power of philanthropy on our campus. Gifts big and small can be leveraged with matches and challenges unlike any other day this year at the University of Missouri.

Last March, during the first-ever day of giving at the University of Missouri, our College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources secured an extra $10,000 for the college through Mizzou challenges — CAFNR brought in the second-most dollars ($1.815 million!) among colleges, schools and units. Challenges were also issued for number of gifts — both challenges will be back again for Mizzou Giving Day 2018, in addition to social media challenges for donors. This year’s day of giving will be held from noon Wednesday, March 14, to noon Thursday, March 15.

During Giving Day 2017, CAFNR also saw 24 reactivated donors and 18 new donors — it’s a great opportunity to make your first gift to the university or get back in the habit of giving.

This year, CAFNR is making sure gifts to our college are even more meaningful on Mizzou Giving Day. An anonymous donor has agreed to match gifts to CAFNR, up to $50,000 (up to $500 per gift). Gifts from last year helped us provide funding to support our stellar students with additional scholarships and educational experiences, to recruit and retain remarkable faculty, and to upgrade teaching and conference spaces.

“These funds are essential as we carry out our strategic plan for our drive to distinction,” said Vice Chancellor and Dean Christopher Daubert.

Visit givingday.missouri.edu or follow #MizzouGivingDay on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep up with all of the excitement (and see how CAFNR is doing in the challenges the day-of!) You can make a gift online, or by calling 866-267-7568 (you can also call this number for instructions on mailing your gift).
