The Ag Alumni Homecoming Tailgate had a new location for 2017 -- on the east side of Mizzou Arena. Pork nachos were on the menu for alumni and friends of CAFNR.

Kendra Elder, a senior in agricultural education, won the drawing at the CAFNR Week Bonfire for two Mizzou Homecoming football tickets.

The CAFNR Week Bonfire was held Sunday, Oct. 8, at Jefferson Farm and Garden. The event was open to faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends, and included s'mores, hotdogs, games, face painting, and fishing.

Truman enjoyed a beautiful day on the links, along with CAFNR alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends Sept. 15 for the annual Tiger Ag Classic golf tournament. Tiger Ag Classic raised more than $29,500 this year and supports 30 College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) scholarships. The 2017 event took place at Lake of the Woods in Columbia, Missouri.

CAFNR Vice Chancellor and Dean Christopher Daubert speaks at the alumni gathering at the Missouri State Fair Saturday, Aug. 12. Daubert took the reins at CAFNR Aug. 1, so the State Fair event was the first chance many alumni had to meet him and hear him speak.

Faculty, students and alumni of the food science program helped celebrate its 50th anniversary at a series of events Friday, Sept. 1, and Saturday, Sept. 2. Activities included an open house, tours, a history presentation, and, of course, food!
