CAFNR's 2017 Animal Sciences Youth Leadership Academy kicked off May 31. Twenty high school students from across the state toured Foremost Dairy Research Center in Columbia. Students were led by David Hoffman, a livestock specialist with MU Extension, Dana Miller, CAFNR senior, and Kaitlyn Adams, a recent CAFNR graduate.

Abrea Mizer, who received degrees in both biochemistry and agricultural education, received the CAFNR Outstanding Senior Award at the 2017 spring commencement ceremony.

CAFNR graduation

Four-hundred and fifty students received diplomas at the spring 2017 commencement ceremonies for the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, held May 12 in the Hearnes Center.
