We are excited to announce a new initiative for the New Year! CAFNR Communications and Marketing is beginning a redesign project for the CAFNR web properties, to launch at the end of 2016.

On the campus level, new web standards will be part of the MU IT Transition Project. Our timing with this redesign means our new sites will follow these standards while delivering a digital experience that is responsive, effective and sustainable.
What’s changing?
The main CAFNR site, cafnr.missouri.edu, will get a brand-new look and be easier to use on mobile devices. We will use new software (WordPress, a content management system) that will make edits faster and bring fresh features. We are also reviewing current content, to meet the needs of web visitors across the College.
We will launch the newly redesigned CAFNR website this December. From now until launch, our web team will dedicate a good chunk of their time every week to designing, developing and testing the new site.
New sites for Divisions will then follow, in the same style.
How will this affect me?
If you are a current content contributor for the main CAFNR, SNR, FSB or DASS sites, and you have time-sensitive content, events or errors on existing content for our web team, we will continue to make updates for you as usual. Please continue to send your updates to cafnrweb@missouri.edu. You might experience a longer response time due to the time we will be dedicating to the new site.
We won’t create new sections until launch. We need to migrate content—7,000 assets—to the redesigned site. Adding new content during migration would increase the risk of incorrect information.
If you have any questions, the CAFNR Marketing and Communications Team will be happy to answer them.
We appreciate your support of our efforts for the betterment of CAFNR, and we value your understanding. We look forward to unveiling the new CAFNR to you!
