Hardwick has served as the treasurer of the CAFNR Student Council, Sigma Alpha recruitment chair, and International Association of Students in Agriculture and Related Sciences president. She has interned for Van Leuven Communications, Cargill Meat Solutions and FMC Corporation.
As a sophomore, she and the other members of the MU Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow chapter received second place in the Yamaha-ACT Scholarship contest for development of a public service campaign about ATV safety.
One professor stated, “Maggie’s ability to adapt her skill-set and energy to various tasks makes her all the more unique and marketable in today’s agricultural industry.”
Five-hundred and fifty CAFNR students graduated May 16. CAFNR’s ceremonies were held in the Hearnes Center, where about 400 students received diplomas. SNR graduated an estimated 150 students at ceremonies in Jesse Auditorium.
