Silver carp was on the menu Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Campus Dining Services Culinary Development Kitchen. Two kinds of chowder, as well as a pasta dish, were sampled and fared well in reviews. CAFNR associate professor Mark Morgan is working to get the invasive fish out of Missouri waters and onto dinner plates instead.

CAFNR graduating seniors are all smiles at winter commencement services Saturday, Dec. 20, in Hearnes Center. The School of Natural Resources' ceremony was held later the same day at the Missouri Theatre.

Jean-Martin Fortier spoke at Bradford Research Center Dec. 14 about "Six Figure Farming for Small Farms." Fortier is a farmer, writer and educator speicalizing in organic and biologically intensive cropping practices. He is internationally recognized for his 10-acre micro-farm in Quebec.

The Forestry Club sold Christmas trees in December at Memorial Stadium. A club member here laughs as she works her shift.
