Program Costs
The following chart displays the costs associated with each program, along with the program length, approximate dates and credits earned for each program. All costs are estimates and may rise or fall depending on tuition rates, exchange rates and airfares.
It is important to understand that costs listed below include all expenses necessary for the program — tuition and fees, airfare, room and board, program fees, program excursions and other program expenses.
Note: Programs from other institutions often do not list the full price including tuition and fees, airfare, room and board, program fees, program excursions and other program expenses. Instead, they will include only the program fee when listing costs. Be sure to check for all related costs when reviewing other program options. If you compare, you will see that the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources' programs are very cost effective.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
CAFNR offers a limited number of scholarships for study abroad students. To be considered, you must complete a scholarship application (PDF) and turn it in to 2-64 Agriculture Building. Scholarship applications are due:
- by Oct. 15 for Winter Break and Spring Semester Programs.
- by March 1 for Summer and Fall Semester programs.
In addition, students who already have scholarships or financial aid may be able to apply that money towards their study abroad cost. To determine eligibility, contact Susie Facklam, Study Abroad specialist, in MU Financial Aid, via e-mail or by phone at 573-882-7506.
