Bulletin Board Policy
School Starts
First Semester
- First week of classes: Letter will go out to let organizations that did not update their bulletin board know that they have two weeks to get them updated.
- Third week of classes: Violations issued if board was not updated; organization must attend next board work night or a second violation will be issued and organization will forgo their bulletin board immediately.
- Eigth week of classes: Board work night (major board overhaul). Organizations that do not attend will receive first violation; those that already have one violation will receive their second and will forgo their board immediately.
End of Semester
Second Semester
- First week of classes: Letter goes out to those organizations that did not participate in first semester's bulletin board work night, indicating they have two weeks to update their board or receive a violation.
- Third week of classes: Violations issued if board was not updated; organization must attend next board work night or a second violation will be issued and organization will forgo their bulletin board immediately.
- Second week before final week: Bulletin Board Work Week (Critical Need: Boards should be updated as a recruitment tool for prospective students that will be visiting over the summer, things such as dues, activities requirements, etc.).
If an organization receives a violation, it will remain with them for an entire year. After receiving two violations the organization will immediately forgo their bulletin board.
If an organization loses a board, they will automatically be places at the end of the waiting list, and given the opportunity to have another board at a later date.
