CAFNR Week Rules
Agricultural in the Classroom Rules
- The King and queen candidates representing each organization are required to participate in this event. If one or both of the candidates are unavailable, they are responsible for finding a replacement participant from within their organization.
- One CAFNR Week Steering Committee member must accompany the candidates or replacements for each presentation.
- Points will be awarded for participation in this event.
- The presentation time may be selected by each pair in effort to accommodate all schedules; the list of available times shall be given and available for sign-ups in 2-64 Agriculture Building.
Public Safety Day Rules:
- At least 2 club members must be at your booth for the duration of the event (3-6PM); members cannot sign in and leave they have to stay and participate in some way or you will no be granted your points
- Booth set up from 2-3 PM that should allot you plenty of time
- Booths shall be targeted towards safety
- Clubs must RSVP for a booth by Friday September 5th 12:00 AM
The community service points will be based on: 40 points for some sort of booth; 50 points if directed towards safety. If 50% of a club wears their CANFR week T-Shirt the club will receive 10 points!

Groups are able to get in the theatre at 3 p.m.
Door opens at 5:30
Curtain opens at 6:30
- Each act must be between 9-12 minutes long (5 points will be taken off for each minute under or over).
- Each act must include:
- Skit that relates to the CAFNR Week theme: "Cultivating the Present to Harvest the Future."
- Lip sync by the King and Queen candidates. (Other cast members may lip sync in addition to candidates)
- King and Queen candidates must participate in skit.
- King and Queen candidates must participate during intermission pageant and fashion show.
- King and Queen will dress as members of the opposite sex as they are introduced. i.e. King will wear dress/wig, queen will wear pants/hat etc.
- Foul language, harsh club and/or individual bashing is not allowed and will not be tolerated. Points will be deducted for inappropriate behavior. Keep skits clean and professional yet have fun. This is a family event.
- All clubs need to clean up any mess or trash, etc. that you may use or make during your skit and all clubs need to have representation backstage to clean up following the last skit of the night.
- All music or sound effects need to be copied onto a single CD in order of use. (Make sure CD works before Skit Night)
- Clubs must turn in a copy of their skit’s script due on Monday, September 21 at 5:00 p.m. in 2-64 Ag Bldg.
Lowry Mall Rules
- Clubs must RSVP for a booth by Friday, Sept. 4 at 12 p.m.
- Booth set up will begin at 11 a.m. and all booths must be set up by noon.
- Each booth must have two representatives at all times.
- Booths should promote the individual organization and CAFNR in hopes to demonstrate the week's theme: "Cultivating the past to harvest the future."
